Wastewater Pumps

Wastewater, also written as waste water, is any water that has been adversely affected in quality by anthropogenic influence. Municipal wastewater is usually treated in a combined sewer, sanitary sewer, effluent sewer or septic tank.

Sewage is the subset of wastewater that is contaminated with feces or urine, but is often used to mean any wastewater. Sewage includes domestic, municipal, or industrial liquid waste products disposed of, usually via a pipe or sewer (sanitary or combined), sometimes in a cesspool emptier. A water pump is a device that moves water by mechanical action. Water pumps can be classified into three major groups according to the method they use to move the fluid: Reciprocating, Rotory and Centrifugal

Wastewater pumps can vary in pump drives and pump styles which include but are not limited to, electric submersible sewage pumps, centrifugal pumps, screw or progressive cavity pumps, air operated diapragm pumps.
